Works Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving processes, and materials handling.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety and policy compliance.
• Manage shipping/receiving, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with regular stock checks and WMS use.
• Optimize materials handling and storage to maximize space.
• Inspect equipment (e.g., forklifts) to ensure proper maintenance.
• Assist with heavy lifting during peak periods.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing processes, including shipping and receiving.
• Familiarity with AS400 systems (preferred).
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift experience required; certifications preferred.
