Salary: £165.26 - £225.39 per day

Hours: Full-time, 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary (Maternity Cover), with potential for long-term (maximum 2 terms)

SMART Education is currently recruiting a talented Music Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis, supporting various secondary schools across Worcestershire. This is a unique opportunity to inspire young learners, and for the right candidate, it could lead to a long-term or permanent role. Immediate interviews and lesson observations are being scheduled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging music lessons across all secondary school age groups.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student progress to support their academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Actively participate in school activities and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with staff and engage with the local community to enhance the school’s child-centered approach to education.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience teaching music in a secondary school environment
  • Proficiency in teaching music, with strengths in planning, assessment, and a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
