Are you an experienced and resilient Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Kidderminster, working both in our Resource Base and Year 4 class, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work in the school's Resource Base, supporting small groups of 6-8 pupils with ASD and SEMH needs.
* Provide assistance in a Year 4 class, focusing on students with similar support requirements.
* Help manage challenging behaviours, including supporting pupils through meltdowns and occasional aggression.
* Collaborate closely with a team consisting of 1 Teacher/HLTA and 2 other Teaching Assistants to ensure each pupil receives the attention and care they need.
* Promote positive learning experiences and encourage social, emotional, and academic development.

Requirements:
* Experience working with children who have ASD and SEMH needs, particularly those who may become dysregulated or exhibit challenging behavior.
* Strong interpersonal and behavior management skills, with the ability to remain calm and patient in high-pressure situations.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a supportive team.
* A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.
