Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Quality Technician for a specialist manufacturing organisation. As the ideal candidate you will have experience working of collecting data to help manage quality control and be able to work with the quality team to help compile reports on production quality and non-conformance.

Ideally you will have worked in a Production environment as a Quality Technician or Quality Inspector but could have transferable skills from product test, lab tech or materials tech work experience.

Your roles and responsibilities will involve:

  • Ownership of lineside production test equipment parameters to achieve accurate first pass yield figures and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Control quality of internal and externally sourced components and drive improvements to protect production.
  • Liaise with suppliers both proactively and reactively to enhance quality measures in place.
  • Investigate customer complaints and drive solutions.
  • Creation, maintenance and implementation of documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, Initial Sample Inspection Reports, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Training Materials, Control Plans, Quality Alerts, 8D reports and any other supporting tools.
  • Monthly KPI reporting with further analysis to highlight trends and areas of interest.
  • Fulfil all EHS requirements and mandatory training.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Partake in calibration activities to meet QMS requirements.
  • To develop and provide support to QMS and EMS where applicable.
