We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher of English to join an Ofsted-rated GOOD school in Kidderminster on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator who is passionate about delivering the National Curriculum to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. Starting in January, the position runs until July, with the potential to become permanent.

Job Role:

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Teach English to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
  • Take on full classroom responsibilities, including marking and reporting on student progress.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and support student achievement.
  • Provide tailored support for ECTs, helping you to grow and develop in your teaching career.

Required Skills and Experience:

To be successful as an English Teacher, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Proven experience or confidence teaching KS3 and KS4 English.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and familiarity with the National Curriculum.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners in a Secondary School setting.

Working as an English Teacher for Flourish Education offers:

  • £160 - £220 per day, which equates to £31,200 to £42,900 per annum based on full-time work.
