Aspire is currently seeking two experienced SEND Teachers to join one of our SEND schools, who are committed to providing high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). These positions are ideal for qualified teachers with a passion for supporting students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full classroom responsibility, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where students feel valued.
Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, trauma, anxiety, and sensory processing challenges.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring tailored support strategies are in place to meet the specific needs of each pupil.
Provide personal care to students as required, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being while at school.
Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external professionals to promote the holistic development of students.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to school leaders, as well as addressing any concerns or challenges that may arise.
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
Proven experience working with SEND students, including SLD, SEMH, trauma, anxiety, and sensory needs.
Strong understanding of how to implement IEPs and individual support strategies effectively.
Ability to create a calm and inclusive classroom environment.
Experience in providing personal care support for students.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
