Support Worker - SEN Teaching Assistant Role
Location: Kidderminster
Aspire Agency is looking for an experienced Support Worker to transition into a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant role within a specialist school in Kidderminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in care, residential support, or working with individuals with additional needs to bring their skills into an educational setting.
Role Details:
* Location: Kidderminster
* Schedule: 5 days per week, term-time only
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity
* Transport: Must drive, as there is no public transport to the school
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or working with individuals with SEN, disabilities, or complex needs
* A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children with additional needs
* Ability to assist with communication, personal care, and behaviour support
* Experience with Makaton, PECS, or sensory learning strategies is desirable
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
