Fabricator / Welder- The Role:
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Fabricator / Welder, based in Hartlebury, Worcestershire.
Tasks and responsibilities.
Assemble and fabricate metal components based on drawings and specifications,
Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions,
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces,
Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG & TIG),
Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet the required specifications,
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Fabricator / Welder - Skills/Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate will have a flexible attitude to work, along with the ability to work unsupervised.
Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role,
Proficient in sheet metal fabrication techniques,
Strong welding skills, including the ability to weld various types of metals,
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in metal fabrication,
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed,
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications,
Good understanding of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment.
