Daytime hours, 4 days per week: Monday - Thursday, 39 hours per week
~ £25,000 pa
- £12.11ph (Probation rate: £11.44ph for first 3 months) + Bonus (+ £864 pa)
About the role:
SourceCo Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a market-leading European automotive OEM in their search for a Production Fitter to join a 20-strong team of committed and professional Fitters at their IRTE accredited base in Kidderminster.
This role is ideal for someone with prior experience of mechanical fitting and/or automotive production, who would be keen to build their mechanical knowledge and develop their career within the commercial vehicle manufacturing industry.
Required:
As a Fitter you will need:
Professional and self-motivated attitude
Ability to read drawings and carry out works in accordance with drawings supplied in build packs.
Good organisational & time management skills
A desire to develop and learn
Practical understanding of using power tools, hydraulics, electrics and/or MIG welding (desirable)
Duties:
The duties of a Fitter will include:
Supporting the Production Manager in developing a high standard of vehicles
Working in a timely manner producing finished products to build process deadlines
Monitoring, raising and recording issues during a build process
Support sub-contractors while on site
Assisting with the preparations for vehicle inspections and testing

Overtime rate x1.5 (c. £18.17ph)
£864 annual time & attendance bonus (paid in quarterly increments of £216 per quarter throughout the year)
