As a Battery Build Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the production and service of our HV battery packs. You will be responsible for the preparation, build, arming and safety testing of battery packs of up to 500V DC to be used in our bespoke builds.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble complete battery packs including installing all wiring harnesses, mechanical enclosures and fixings

In-build testing and validation of HV battery packs

Assembly of subcomponents and sub-assemblies.

Arming of battery pack to High Voltage

Safety checks and testing of battery packs.

Liaising with the production manager to deliver products to the agreed schedule

Working to test procedures

Maintaining accurate build records

Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards

Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental protocols

Perform additional duties, whether functional or administrative, as assigned by management in a fair and reasonable manner

Requirements:

The successful candidate will.

Have electrical & mechanical technical knowledge & ability

Be able to read and interpret engineering and electrical drawings

Be organised, precise and have a pragmatic approach to working.

Impeccable attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

Have previously been certified to HV SAP / AP level or IMI EV level 3

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)

Familiarity with business tools such as Asana, Jira, etc.

Salary offered is between 30 - 35k, Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5.00pm, plus onsite parking and other extras.
