About the Role:We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a dynamic and growing Manufacturing business in the Healthcare sector. This role focuses on aligning processes, fostering a collaborative culture, and driving operational efficiency to meet business objectives. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to implement effective systems and processes, support growth, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth management across all departments.
  • Evaluate and implement improved processes, procedures, and systems to optimise efficiency.
  • Build a positive and open team culture with strong communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with commercial, engineering, and finance teams to ensure accurate costing, production, and reporting.
  • Manage production schedules, inventory, and change control processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address issues and implement continuous improvement.
  • Drive product improvement and development to meet evolving industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with EH&S, fire regulations, and HR matters in collaboration with senior leadership.

  • Achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Deliver quality products on time and on budget.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and engaged team.
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and aftersales support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in general or operational management, ideally within a multi-department or group structure.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development and culture.
  • Expertise in process improvement, production management, and financial performance.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, change control, and cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting to: CEOResponsible for: All staff within the business, with a dotted line to the finance team.
