Are you looking for a new opportunity with a leading company?

I am looking for a Process Chemists to join a leader in the fuels sector. This is a full time permanent postition. The role offers diverse opportunities for growth and development through activities including lab work (including synthesis and analysis), root cause investigations for product quality concerns, supporting plant trials, analytical evaluation of process changes at manufacturing plants and report writing. 

What are the responsibilities? 

  • Designing, planning and execution of experimental programmes and associated analytical testing with guidance from supervisor
  • Operation of a Pilot Plant unit and support process improvements and process safety activities 
  • Evaluations of new raw materials and component suppliers
  • Analysis and insight in support of lab or plant troubleshooting, process optimisation, New Product Development projects and fundamental understanding activities

What skills will you gain from this role?

  • BSc/MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar 
  • Experience in Process Chemistry within a speciality chemicals sector 
  • Expertise in analysis and synthesis of fuel products
