 A global technology company who provides products and services to educational institutions, exam bodies and international governments is currently recruiting for a Channel Partner Manager to the team for an initial 3 month contract with extensions highly likely. The rate for the role will be £700 - £800 per day umbrella (inside IR35) and will be remote with ad hoc travel into the office a couple of days per month.

They offer a range of assessment services to their customers from a full outsourced managed service through to a licence and support service model.

Their vision is to grow from their current strong position as the leading provider of high stakes e-marking solutions into an organisation that is a major force in the eAssessment arena.

This is a new role, created to recognise the importance they give to growing their already successful business in the UK & Ireland. 

Reporting to the Business Growth Director, the Channel Partner Manager will be responsible for identifying market trends and then developing their partnership network model to support growth across the globe. 

The role will be new business focused whether that be to support new named business or the expansion of existing customer relationships

Target organisations may include suppliers of technology solutions that support the increasing profile of their digital portfolio. Equally it may be connecting with ministries of education across countries to open networks promoting them as a partner for digital assessment.

This is an exciting time to join as they have recently added a significant number of new customers in the UK and internationally.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners that align with the company’s target market and growth strategy.
  • Develop and implement structured onboarding programs to ensure partners are effectively integrated and productive.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring consistent and clear communication.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations.
  • Drive partner satisfaction by addressing any issues, resolving conflicts, and ensuring mutual success.
  • Develop and deliver partner training programs to ensure partners are fully equipped to promote, sell, and support the company’s products and services.
  • Support partners in closing sales deals by providing technical and strategic assistance.
  • Provide internal reports to management on partner performance, sales forecasts, and pipeline status.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine the company’s channel strategy in line with overall business objectives.

The ideal candidate

  • Strong experience of developing partnership networks on a global level that support growth ambitions and add strength to the product and service portfolio
  • Strong relationship management of partners both whilst engaging potential partners and then to onboarding them
  • Proven experience of market analysis to identify trends and then in turn work collaboratively across a business to lead proposition expansion plans with carefully selected and managed partnerships.
  • Positive energy and engagement skills.
  • Strong communication both written and oral in order to work across territories and collaborate to get the right solutions in place for all parties.
