Our client who operate within the Civil and Structural Engineering sector as well as the Geotechnical and Infrastructure are looking for a Civil Engineer in their Oxfordshire office. Civil Engineer Job Overview- Conduct site appraisals and feasibility assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments and Utility Assessments.
- Design and manage drainage systems, including remedial works and SuDS.
- Create detailed designs for tendering and construction phases.
- Develop and oversee highway designs for local authorities and private developments (S38/S184/S278).
- Serve as an Expert Witness when required.
- Manage road, sewer, and SuDS adoption processes.
- Provide technical support for planning applications and advise during pre-application stages.
- Act as the Client's Representative and manage contracts effectively.
- Perform earthworks modeling to support project requirements.
- BSc or BEng qualified within a Civil Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy
- Experience of Highways and Drainage Design
- Knowledge of Road and Sewer / SuDS Adoption
- Knowledge of a range of Civil engineering software's
- An ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports
