Fire Risk Assessor - Oxfordshire - Hybrid Working (Home / Site / Office) - Client Side, Job Security - Day rate £300-£350 per day (CIS / Self Employed / Umbrella) or £220-£250 per day PAYE - 37 hrs pw - Long Term Contract Position - Potential for Career Progression and Contract to Permanent

Our client, which is a prestigious local government body require a Fire Risk Assessor in Oxfordshire to join their expanding team managing Fire Risk work across a mix of domestic and commercial properties. Duties for the position of Fire Risk Assessor in Oxfordshire include:

  • Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Identify potential fire hazards, assess risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure accurate and timely completion of assessments.
  • Manage the contractor carrying out identified works.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, findings, and recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fire safety.

To apply for the position of Fire Risk Assessor in Oxfordshire you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments.
  • A recognised qualification in fire safety management and fire risk assessments (from bodies such as the Fire Protection Association, Fire Industry Association, Institute of Fire Engineers, or NEBOSH) would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Building Safety Act.
  • Preferably level 3 or above in Fire Safety
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Certification or qualification in fire risk assessment or fire safety management.
  • Experience working with diverse types of sites, including commercial and residential.
