£80k - £100k + bonus scheme, Oxfordshire

We are searching for a Commercial Director to head up an exciting newly-created division for our M&A Consultancy Client within an easy commute of Oxfordshire. Working on a 'business leverage' service proposition, the successful candidate will be working along side the CEO and Senior Management team, with excellent ongoing opportunity for personal career growth. This opportunity is offered on a hybrid working pattern Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Launching and managing a new business 'scale-up' division (typical t/o at sale £10m+)
  • Managing a portfolio of business owner clients to support them to leverage growth within the business, often prior to a successful sale
  • Assessing strengths and challenges of business to help shape future engagement
  • Creating business growth/go-to-market plans
  • Delivering compelling feedback and supporting growth to win further clients
  • Identifying opportunity to create greater value within the business

Requirements

  • Proven examples of 'business scale-up' experience (Management Consultancy or PE background could be ideal)
  • Effective relationship-builder with ability to manage a reporting team
  • Business Development / origination background
  • Warmth, integrity and approachable personality
  • Driver license with own transport
  • Living in Oxfordshire or Berkshire area
