ROLE – Project Manager SALARY - £55,000- £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)TYPE – PermanentLOCATION – OxfordshireMy client designs and manufactures products for the architectural industry. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a technical Engineering background to join their team in Oxfordshire on a permanent basis.The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • 5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior level
  • Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualification
  • Knowledge of or experience working with Product Design 
  • An educational or hands-on background in Engineering
  • Experienced in/knowledge of Energy/Process industries would be ideal but not required
  • Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge
  • Be able to read engineering drawings
  • Strong client-facing experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
  • Be flexible to travel as required
  • A creative mindset and ability 
Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
  • Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Organising the supply chain
  • Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans
  • Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress
  • Working with design, purchasing and production departments
  • Presenting project plans and reports to management
  • Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues
  • Maintaining technical documentation as required
  • Working in a small, multidisciplined team
