The school is looking for someone who has empathy and the ability to work under their own initiative to take on the role of SEMH Classroom Assistant. Working as a SEMH Classroom Assistant will open doors to the educational and psychology industry as well as a chance to gain experience working with children facing social, emotional and mental health challenges.

While working as a SEMH Classroom Assistant, you will be collaborating with experienced SEN teachers to create engaging lesson plans and learning material. As a SEMH Classroom Assistant, you will be responsible for helping students maintain focus and follow self-regulation techniques when facing social, emotional and mental health challenges throughout the school day. You will be working on both a 1-1 student basis and with small groups of students to provide them with tailored support.
