Senior Ecologist

Oxford £32,000-£38,000

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a well-established team in Oxford! They are a multidisciplinary consultancy who specialise in a range of environmental departments including Ecology, Landscape Architecture and Arboriculture.

The team is a great group of well rounded, experienced consultants who are passionate about delivering great results! They are seeking a Senior Ecologist who will be able to assist in the development and mentoring of the team. The team work with an ever-increasing client base and have a keen focus on developing areas of ecology.

Responsibilities of a Senior Ecologist include;

  • Team leadership, project management and business development.
  • Completing a mixture of field and office-based assignments.
  • Mentoring team members.
  • Producing EcIA's and management plans.

Requirements of the role include;

  • Commercial and practical ecological experience, with a relevant professional institution membership.
  • Experience with Phase 1 Habitat and Protected Species sureveys, PEA and EcIA's.
  • Protected species survey licences are preferred.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
