Job Title: Controls & Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Controls & Electrical Design Engineer to join our exciting growing client in Didcot.
The role involves using AutoCAD Electrical to design panels and electrical schematics for systems ranging from small retro-fit cameras to large industrial automation machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and specify control systems and electrical components for industrial automation.
- Create electrical schematics and layouts in AutoCAD Electrical to EU standards.
- Develop technical specifications and control system programming architecture.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver projects on time.
- PLC and controls programming for automation systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and assist in electrical fitting and panel wiring.
- Conduct testing on new builds and provide electrical support during the manufacturing process.
- Commission and support systems at customer sites (UK and overseas).
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software.
- Experience in designing electrical panel layouts and industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of machinery safety and communication protocols (Profinet, EtherNet/IP, etc.).
