Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Systems Engineer to work with an innovative engineering business, with the goal to bring electric and sustainable technology to life.
You'll be designing and developing the electrical systems used in HV batteries and power distribution systems.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft system and component-level requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers on project components and systems
- Assist in project assembly and troubleshooting
- Create system architecture diagrams and circuit drawings
- Contribute to hazard analysis and risk management as needed
- Support virtual and physical builds for components and vehicles
- Prepare and present reports for stakeholders
- Participate in technical and project reviews
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience with electrical integration in automotive or motorsport projects
- Good understanding of on-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, etc)
- HV charging knowledge (either on-vehicle or off-vehicle)
- Vector tools experience (such as CANalyzer)
- Requirements capture experience
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Functional Safety (ISO26262) understanding
- Degree in a relevant discipline
