Our prestigous client based in Kidlington are looking for a Workshop Machinist to join their team on a contract basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manufacture of machined components using CNC and NC equipment from a wide selection of materials,
- Liaising with the appropriate Team Leader to deliver products to the agreed schedule,
- Maintaining accurate and traceable records,
- Ensuring strict adherence to company quality standards,
- Using computerised systems to maintain CAD data integrity,
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental guidance and regulations,
- Take ownership of the manufacturing area and associated products,
- Drive continuous improvement activities,
- Reporting issues within the work area and resolving them where appropriate,
- Maintaining the working area to acceptable cleanliness and safety standards,
- Work on other programmes and sites as required by the business,
- Support the business in any reasonable way as required,
- The job holder may be expected to travel worldwide to support programmes when required by the business,
Experience & Qualifications:
- Job holder must possess a suitable manufacturing qualification or equivalent experience,
- Experience of working in a mechanical environment is advantageous,
- Good working knowledge of proprietary PC software e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
- Holding a current driving licence would be advantageous,
Salary -
- 16.00 -21.00 per hour DEO
Working Hours-
- Monday to Friday- 08:00 - 17:00
