Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: OxfordSalary: £42,000-£47,000Hybrid working and Ad hoc travel required to different sites

These strategic moves underscore their commitment to delivering exceptional aviation services and expanding its presence both domestically and internationally.
Role Summary:My client is looking for a HR Business Partner to support their aviation operations with a strong focus on employee relations and operational HR. This role is 2 days working from home and the other days will either be spent in the office or at their different sites across the Southern Region as travel will be required on an Ad Hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:-
Support and advise managers on employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence management.

Provide guidance on employment law, company policies, and best ER practices to ensure consistency across the business.

Collaborate with legal teams and external advisors to mitigate risk and support business objectives.

Assist in driving proactive ER strategies, including initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.

Act as a key point of contact for HR queries and ER issues, coaching line managers on best practices.

Conduct investigations and support fair and transparent processes for dispute resolution.

Work closely with business leaders to support workforce planning, organisational design, and restructuring activities.

Ensure efficiency in onboarding, contracts, HR systems, and policies, supporting operational HR delivery.

Drive continuous improvement of HR processes to align with industry standards and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with HR colleagues to deliver key projects, including diversity & inclusion initiatives, employee wellbeing, and training programmes.

Partner with unions and employee representative groups to maintain strong working relationships and collaborative industrial relations.

Proven HR experience in the aviation or a similarly complex, unionised industry.

Strong background in employee relations case management, including handling complex cases.

Good understanding of UK employment law and industry-specific regulations.

Experience working in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment.

Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including operational managers.

Problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.

CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
