Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Pay and Reward Specialist in Oxford. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

  • To lead or be involved in the development of innovative pay, benefits and reward projects
  • To lead and develop pay benchmarking solutions, ensuring the organisation remains competitive within the pay market at median to upper quartile
  • To build, develop, and lead a job evaluation panel drawn from shared resource across the organisation to ensure demand and outcomes are met
  • To be responsible for the development of reward policies, procedures and practices that are fit for purpose, underpinned by effective governance and controls
  • To oversee digital systems development, testing and implementation, relating to pay and reward, with internal colleagues and suppliers

The candidate:

  • CIPD professional membership (Level 5 and above) and experience
  • Detailed knowledge of employment and equalities legislation
  • Pay and reward experience, including job sizing methodology / job evaluation schemes
  • Experience working in a similar role in the public sector is desirable
