Job Title: Paraplanner
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Location: East Oxfordshire
A fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking Independent and Award-Winning Financial Planning firm that are based in the Oxfordshire region. This firm has a strong reputation in the industry, providing holistic bespoke financial advice.
With a technical back-office team, this role would suit someone who is keen to test their technical knowledge whilst growing and developing within an established financial planning firm.
Paraplanning responsibilities would involve supporting with the technical suitability report writing, cash flow modelling, researching products/funds and general assistance to advisers when formulating the advice for their longstanding clients.
They promote internal progression within the firm, with opportunities to progress into advice or team management in the future. These routes are all openly discussed which will give you a clear idea of your industry progression.
The Required Skills:
- Level 4 Diploma qualified, with progress towards Chartered (desirable).
- Experience of providing paraplanning support within a financial planning / wealth management firm previously.
- Good communication skills and comfortable dealing with clients face to face, on the phone and through written correspondence.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Good understanding of the FCA and how a financial services firm operates.
