Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor required!

We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our Alternative Provision in Oxfordshire.

Location: Oxfordshire (must drive)Hours: 30 - 37 hours per week, Monday to FridaySalary: £120-£150 per day

As cover supervisor you will be:

• highly motivated, with a passion for education
• have bags of enthusiasm, patience and perseverance
• Be prepared to travel across our sites as needs demand. You will be based in either Oxford or Banbury and when not required to cover will be part of our student support team on that base.

Duties:

• Ensuring that the classroom environment is safe, productive, tidy and harmonious in the absence of the class teacher;
• Keeping pupils motivated to stay on task with any pre-set exercises that their teacher has set;
• Showing pupils the right steps to complete a task;
• Providing any materials or tools needed to complete a pre-prepared task;
• Helping pupils to follow pre-prepared material in accordance with the school’s policy.
• Working across different curriculum areas, including different subjects.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cover supervisor
• Previous experience in an SEN setting
• Driving Licence and happy to travel between sites
• Passion and empathy
