The property is a walled garden, partly timbered, vegetable and fruit garden, herbaceous borders, greenhouse, orangery and an outdoor swimming pool.An enthusiastic and experienced gardener to manage and maintain the garden to a high standard. At ease with all aspects of garden machinery and be able to ensure all tools are maintained to safety standards. Must provide Safety Certificates for use of garden machinery.The principals seek a gardener with horticultural and grounds keeping experience. The candidate will also be able to carry out some handyman and driving duties so a clean driver’s licence needed. Responsible for maintenance of house vehicles. You will also be required to oversee the security of the property.A 2 bedroom cottage with own garden is provided near the main house inclusive of all bills ex phone and i/net. Will suit a non-smoking candidate with no pets though dog lovers are essential as there is a family pet. A partner is welcome.Work is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm + occasional weekend driving. 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays taken in liaison with the Housekeeper. A non-contributory pension is available.
