Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description:

  • Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
  • Ensure all automation within the business operates efficiently and effectively by carrying out regular

  • inspections and diagnosing faults
  • Overcome unplanned problems and where possible carry out repairs
  • Work with other maintenance engineers to design and implement a preventative maintenance plan
  • Work with specialist equipment, such as programable logic controllers (PLC)
  • Facilitate installations of new machinery and automation projects
  • Carry out all work inline with company Health and safety guidelines
  • Ensure that your working area is kept in a safe and tidy

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Maintenance Experience
  • Electrical Qualifications

  • PLC Experience Advantageous
  • Injection moulding experience
