Senior Project ManagerLocation: Remote (with occasional travel to offices in Central and Southern England)Salary: Up to £60,000CPS Group are working with a software company that specialises in providing cutting-edge software solutions for public sector services looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their growing team.As a Senior Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of client satisfaction. You'll oversee day-to-day project activities while mentoring junior team members to foster growth and progression within the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping the team and contributing to the organisation's long-term success.Key Responsibilities:> Manage all phases of project delivery to ensure timely and on-budget completion.> Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and budgets.> Actively identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.> Use Agile methodologies to maintain efficiency and adaptability throughout the project lifecycle.> Mentor and guide junior team members, driving team cohesion and development.> Utilise project management tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA to track progress and facilitate collaboration.What We're Looking For:> Proven experience in project management, ideally within a professional services or software environment.> Strong background in Agile methodologies and stakeholder management.> Demonstrable experience in risk management and resolution.> Familiarity with project management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA (desirable).> A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Due to the nature of the work, candidates must have lived in the UK continuously for a minimum of 5 years to pass the required security vetting.
