Role - Maintenance Planning Engineer

Location – Oxford area

Salary - £38K

The role:

The Maintenance Planning Engineer is responsible for the management of maintenance and materials planning requirements and the production of line and base maintenance work packs. Review of maintenance work packs completion prior to aircraft departure and updating the MIS as required.

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Good understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and material planning requirements as related to Part CAMO / A8-25 & Part 145 / A8-23.
  • Methodical with acute attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision or as part of a team.
  • Flexible work ethic focused on delivering against agreed timelines.
  • Strong team leadership.
  • Proactive - ability to recognise potential issues and apply remedial action before they raise concern or affect operations.
  • Must have high computer literacy skills and be competent with Google Docs.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

Knowledge of continuing airworthiness management software for the use of maintenance and materials planning.

Education, Qualifications or Training

Essential

Minimum 5 GCSE's Grade C or above or equivalent recognised qualifications (e.g. NVQ, BTEC).

Desirable

  • Aviation related degree or equivalent.
  • Aviation human factors training undertaken.
  • Recognised Part CAMO Training Course accomplished.
  • Recognised Part 145 Training Course accomplished.
