Recognised as one of the most innovative and technically advanced manufacturers globally, they are now looking to add to their team with a Manufacturing Engineer.

The Role: Manufacturing Engineer

Overall, the role is to support production and improve their processes and procedures. You will be working closely with the Ops Director and with the wider engineering team to learn what they do, how they do it and document this to improve their standard operating procedures, using your continuous improvement ability along the way. Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting data and information, recording, and interpreting along the way.
  • Creating BoMs, SOPs and work instructions.
  • Updating parts and assembly drawings using Solidworks.
  • Document control.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.

The Candidate: Manufacturing Engineer

The ideal person will be organised, logical and comfortable using spreadsheets and different computer systems. They will also have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding how products are put together and how to improve this and document this in SOPs.

You must be comfortable using:

  • CAD software
  • ERP / MRP
  • Microsoft office
