An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Data Analyst in Oxfordshire. In this contract opportunity, you must be an engaging presenter, with responsibility for driving performance across marketing channels to increase retail sales from all target audience sectors. This role will involve analysing products, audience behaviours and channel performance; and providing recommendations for the key decision makers in the business.

Description

The successful Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for;

  • Analysing marketing data and compiling detailed reports and recommendations for leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Developing comprehensive marketing strategies based on performance data and market trends.
  • Coordinating with the marketing, digital and sales teams to optimise promotional efforts and sales.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of marketing programmes and strategies.
  • Gathering data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Identifying and refining campaign opportunities for maximum performance.
  • Tracking KPIs, producing reports, and updating senior management on progress.

Profile

The successful Marketing Data Analyst should have the following skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset with experience working with multiple complex data sources.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of marketing elements and market research methods.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Excel)
  • Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy and quality
  • Ideally, a knowledge of digital marketing channels.
