This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects within a dynamic and growing team.The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally within manufacturing, machinery, or product development.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
Experience with sheet metal, fabrication, and machining processes.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and tolerances.
Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.

The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:

Designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks (or similar CAD software).
Producing detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
Generating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure designs meet technical and project requirements.
Conducting design reviews and implementing modifications to improve performance and cost efficiency.
Assisting with prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
