A global manufacturer of components used across wide range of industries is currently seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join their busy tool room due to continued growth and expansion.

***Up to 43,000 plus bonus, Day shift Mon-Fri, 5% Pension contributions, Life Assurance, Overtime available (1.75x)***

You will be responsible for undertaking tool maintenance, repair and modification within an injection moulding toolroom that supports the manufacturing department.

As a Toolmaker, your duties will include:

  • Build & repair tooling to a high standard to maximise output and ensure product quality meets the required standard to maintain a high level of RFT.
  • Work closely with production technicians to minimise downtime in the production area
  • Work closely with Quality, identifying and rectifying product failures and rectification work.
  • Trouble-shooting tooling issues.
  • Support new tooling projects.
  • Support CI initiatives & 5S programs to drive change and tooling development.

To be successful in the role of Toolmaker, the ideal candidate will:

  • Experience of working within a toolroom or machine shop, capable of operating standard Toolroom equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Have good experience and understanding of both conventional and CNC machining.
