Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Pump Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water pumps used in various applications including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Water Pump Engineer will ensure that all water pump systems are functioning efficiently and reliably, with a focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation & Commissioning:

    • Install and commission water pump systems in various applications (domestic, agricultural, industrial, etc.).
    • Ensure that the installation complies with engineering specifications, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintenance & Servicing:

    • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on water pump systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
    • Troubleshoot and identify issues related to water pumps, motors, and control systems.
    • Replace worn or damaged components (e.g., seals, bearings, impellers) and adjust settings as necessary.
  • Repairs & Upgrades:

    • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in water pump systems.
    • Implement upgrades to existing systems, including the installation of more efficient pumps and motors.
    • Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts and materials required for repairs and replacements.
  • Technical Support & Customer Service:

    • Provide technical support and advice to clients, contractors, and team members regarding water pump systems.
    • Address customer concerns and ensure that all service and repair work meets client expectations.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, inspection logs, and equipment histories.
    • Generate and submit detailed reports on pump performance and any corrective actions taken.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines during installation, maintenance, and repairs.
    • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
