The Engineering Technician position is a critical role in a dynamic food manufacturing environment, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the performance of machinery and equipment.

Description

  • Carry out routine machinery checks and maintenance.
  • Respond to equipment faults and perform necessary repairs.
  • Implement improvements to enhance machinery performance and reliability.
  • Ensure safety regulations are met at all times.
  • Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the training of other team members when necessary.

22:00 - 06:00 (8 HOURS)

SUNDAY - THURSDAY

Profile

A successful Engineering Technician/Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A recognised Engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, Multi-Skilled - Level 3 minimum)
  • 17th edition
  • Familiarity with PLC's, general electrical control & control systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
