An experienced Packaging Compliance Coordinator is needed to join a leading global supplier of motorcycle and bicycle aftermarket products based in Oxfordshire.

With a diverse range of products designed to enhance the riding experience-from clothing and helmets to accessories, locks, and luggage-this company continues to grow, developing innovative solutions at its state-of-the-art headquarters.

This role requires a detail-oriented and organised individual with a strong understanding of packaging compliance, sustainability, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams, and demonstrate a keen interest in motorcycles and/or bicycles.

About the Role

The Packaging Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring compliance with global packaging regulations and sustainability initiatives. This position involves working closely with the compliance and warehouse teams to manage packaging data, ensure regulatory reporting accuracy, and maintain supplier compliance records.

The role offers an opportunity to work across departments, including buying, product development, stock administration, and creative teams, to support the company's environmental and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the stock administration team to ensure historical packaging data is accurately recorded.
  • Capture and update packaging dimensions using the Cubiscan machine and ensure data is regularly uploaded to internal systems.
  • Liaise with product development and category managers to address missing packaging data.
  • Manage and report on waste packaging obligations, including Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT), Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
  • Maintain and update supplier database records to ensure compliance with packaging regulations.
  • Review supplier questionnaires and provide feedback to ensure compliance with supply chain requirements.
  • Support suppliers in meeting quality and environmental responsibility targets.
  • Assist in achieving ISO 14001 Environmental Management System objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience:

  • Strong interest in packaging compliance, sustainability, and regulatory affairs.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in data management and reporting within a packaging or compliance-related role (desirable).
  • Previous experience in regulatory affairs, supply chain auditing, or environmental compliance (desirable).
