As a proud member of the NDA group, they're part of Europe's largest and most ambitious clean-up project, spanning several decades. Specialising in the treatment and disposal of nuclear waste, with a commitment to protecting people and the environment both now and for future generations.

Your new role:The Project Controls Manager supports the Senior Project Control Manager and Senior Delivery Leads in managing P3M controls within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office. They also manage and engage with a mix of line and matrixed teams to deliver the provision of an integrated controls service (Cost, Planning, Risk and Estimating) for the organisation. Ensuring accurate and timely data reporting to stakeholders and embracing company values are crucial aspects of the role.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience in leading Project Controls for complex programs.
  • Proven track record in regulated environments.
  • Certified in Project Management/Controls (e.g., APM, P3M3, MSP, Prince2) or equivalent.
  • Skilled at setting up policies and processes.
  • Proficient with Project Controls systems and tools.
  • Excellent communicator, skilled at building relationships and collaborating.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data.
  • Experienced at leading and managing teams.
  • Skilled at developing others and enhancing data integrity

Desired skills:

  • Public sector experience, particularly of working within a high value programme forming part of a Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP)/Major Projects Review Group (MPRG) programme in the UK government, is highly desirable.
  • Scheduling and P6 certifications
