Job Title: Ops Category Manager
Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Oxfordshire
About the Role:
We're seeking a dynamic Category Manager to join our client's Procurement team. The incumbent will drive financial savings and implement a procurement strategy for designated categories.
About You:
- Qualified Procurement professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Proficient in development, drafting, structuring, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive implementation and review of procurement strategy with key stakeholders to align with business direction
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of key supply markets
- Cultivate supplier relationships to support our client's strategy, drive innovation, and ensure best practices
- Maximize ROI on spend with third parties
- Ensure timely and budgetary delivery of project targets through collaboration and project execution
- Challenge stakeholder requirements and educate on supply base and market dynamics for maximum benefit
- Promote and deliver effective contract and supplier management practices
- Manage risks and ensure value for money through effective negotiations and contractual relationships
