I'm currently working with a manufacturing business in Oxfordshire who are looking for an Interim Senior Buyer. In this role you would be responsible for procuring indirect services and you would need to be in the office four days per week. As this role requires someone in the office the majority of the week the successful candidate will need to live in commuting distance to the Oxfordshire region. Day rate £350-£450 inside IR35.

Description
- Manage the procurement process, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage suppliers and vendors.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- Handle contract negotiations and agreements with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews.
- Prepare procurement reports and provide updates to management.
Profile
- Have proven experience procuring indirect services within the industrial / manufacturing industry (essential).
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and policies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Live in commuting distance to Oxfordshire.
- Be available to start within the next couple of weeks if not straight away.
