We are currently recruiting for Secondary Supply Teachers to work on an ad-hoc basis, providing flexibility for you to choose your working days each week. This is a great opportunity for teachers who want to make an immediate impact in different schools while maintaining work-life balance.

About the Role - Supply Teacher:
  • Position: Secondary Supply Teacher - covering Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Location: Various secondary schools across Oxford
  • Start Date: Immediate start available
  • Contract Type: Flexible, ad-hoc basis (choose your availability)
  • Salary: Competitive rates of pay, based on experience
  • CPD: Ongoing professional development provided by Tradewind
  • Support: All lesson plans provided prior to your shift
What You'll Do:
  • Cover pre-planned lessons across various subjects (flexibility required for different subject areas)
  • Provide a positive, engaging learning environment for students
  • Support pupils in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Mark work and provide a handover for the regular teacher
  • Maintain strong classroom management and ensure continuity of learning
  • Flexibility to work in different schools and adapt to different classroom settings
Who We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teachers (QTS) or unqualified teachers with relevant experience
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire students
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to cover various subjects and year groups
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' learning
  • Ideally, you will have access to your own transport, as some schools may require travel
  • Available for an immediate start
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
