What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our Single Point of Access (SPA) Team as a Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner, where you’ll play a key role in the assessment and triage of young people accessing mental health services. Your key responsibilities will include:

? Conducting initial screenings and risk assessments for young people referred to CAMHS.? Providing brief interventions and signposting to appropriate services.? Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies.? Ensuring timely and effective triage to the most appropriate support pathway.? Supporting crisis management and safeguarding concerns.? Keeping accurate and up-to-date clinical records.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

? A professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.? Experience working in CAMHS, SPA, or a similar triage/assessment setting.? Strong assessment and risk management skills.? Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.? The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time locum role, with flexibility to work between 8 AM and 6 PM.
