Are you a dynamic and compassionate leader with a passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals? Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee their vital services, supporting those facing homelessness across the region.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective delivery of the services, including supported accommodation, outreach programs, and community engagement. You will lead a committed team, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and are aligned with organisational mission to combat homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple projects, ensuring high standards of service delivery
  • To ensure the organisation delivers an effective and high-quality support and housing management that meets the evolving needs of our clients
  • To deliver a psychologically and trauma informed approach across all services
  • To promote the active involvement of service user experience and voice in the delivery, development and monitoring of all services
  • To cover the Support Managers absence - ensuring their teams are supported during these absences
  • To support managers to ensure that all services are run safely and compliant with safeguarding and health and safety policies
  • To ensure effective and sustainable housing management; including rental, anti-social behaviour management and community commitment
  • To develop review and improve all commissioned and non-commissioned support services in accordance with the aims and objectives of the business
  • Respond to emergencies, on occasion during unsocial hours, and participate in a rota to provide response cover
  • Being proactive in reviewing and evaluating own performance and identifying and acting upon areas for improvement and development
About You

We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about homelessness and social justice but also has strong leadership skills and operational management experience.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in operations management, ideally within the social housing, homelessness, or charity sector
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
