Walker and Sloan are working with a well known marketing agency in Oxfordshire, as they are keen to bring on a Senior Software Engineer to the team on a full time basis, with the requirement of coming into the offices twice a week.

Senior Software Engineer -up £60,000 - Hybrid (2 days in office)

The package

  • Up to £60,000 salary, negotiable based on experience.
  • A monetary bonus paid annually (approx. 10% of your salary)

The role

You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining technology for websites (database and application) and Python-driven Tableau applications. You'll play a critical role within the web development teams and be responsible for handling data storage and ensuring content gets delivered.What does the day-to-day look like?

  • Building and maintaining web applications
  • Building and maintaining tableau scrips or dashboards
  • Building and maintaining React Native mobile application
  • Building reusable code for future use
  • Optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Building and maintaining unit tests
  • Troubleshooting and debugging
  • Testing the applications and websites you build
