About the Role:

Education Boutique is looking for passionate and experienced Tutors and Learning Support Assistants (LSA/TA) to support learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We offer flexible opportunities for both online and in-person tuition across Oxfordshire, covering all subjects and levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 or small-group support to learners with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, PDA, etc.).
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, adapting to individual learning styles.
  • Build rapport and trust with students to support re-engagement in education.
  • Implement strategies to improve confidence, knowledge retention, and academic progress.
  • Work closely with families and other professionals to provide holistic support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN learners (as a tutor, LSA, TA, or teacher).
  • Strong subject knowledge in one or more core or specialist subjects.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to learning.
  • For in-person roles: ability to travel to students' locations in Oxfordshire.
