Position Overview: Reed are proud to be working a leading institution in clinical research in their search for junior doctors to assist in a clinical trial. The trial seeks to investigate the effect of oral semaglutide vs. placebo on cardiovascular outcomes in up to 20,000 participants with type 2 diabetes. Participants take part remotely (by completing questionnaires on their own device or during telephone interviews with research nurses) and study treatment is sent to their homes by post. 

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and gain valuable experience in the field of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle clinical queries from collaborators, doctors, patients, and their staff.
  • Assess incoming information from the trial web-system to determine necessary actions (e.g., adverse event reports, modifying study treatment).
  • Evaluate participant eligibility for the trial.
