We are excited to announce a remarkable opportunity for a Supplier Performance Manager to join a rapidly expanding company based in Oxford, offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000. This position has been established in response to the company's growth and recent acquisitions.

In this role, you will be responsible for continuously evaluating and analyzing supplier performance, as well as managing risks and crises to enhance the overall supply chain efficiency.

Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.Role responsibilities of the Supplier Performance Manager include:

  • Monitor and assess supplier performance daily, applying standard metrics to identify gaps and develop action plans for improvement.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and communicate metrics to stakeholders while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Implement continuous improvement plans and conduct supplier assessments to enhance performance and identify best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Supplier Quality and Procurement, to drive supplier development initiatives.
  • Participate in the supplier selection process for new products, focusing on capacity expansion and process optimization.
  • Support crisis management and risk mitigation efforts by managing action plans and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.

Person Specification of the Supplier Performance Manager:

  • Previous experience managing suppliers with a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suites
  • Means to conduct supplier visits - 20-50%
