- A background in mechanical engineering (HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent).
- Previous experience in an internal sales, technical support, or applications engineering role.
- Strong understanding of engineering products, components, or manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to sales and customer support.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts.
- Handling inbound sales inquiries and providing technical support to customers.
- Preparing quotations, proposals, and pricing for clients.
- Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable engineering solutions.
- Managing and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Supporting the external sales team with technical expertise and documentation.
- Liaising with the engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Updating and maintaining the CRM system with accurate customer data.
- Assisting in sales forecasting and reporting activities.
