Location: Midlands/OxfordshireShorterm Group are looking for a Field Service Engineer / Mobile technician to join a client on a permanent basis. The client is one of the largest PCV/PSV manufacturers and has a strong heritage, over 125 years in the market worldwide.What employees can expect* A generous reward structure.* Apart from salary, there is also additional bonus and overtime potential* Company pension* Annual leave entitlement which increases* Employee Assistance Programme, which offers impartial support on issues impacting your life* Cycle to work scheme, discounted gym membership, and more.Details about the role:* Responsible for ensuring maximum vehicle availability for customers throughout the Midlands.* Working on our customers sites, providing a quick and diligent service, to diagnose problems and complete repairs, while being health and safety conscious.* The role will include schedule and reactive repairs and maintenance.* Completing all associated paperwork, upon completion of repairs/maintenance on vehicles.* Company van provided, fully equipped with tools and parts, as required.* 37 hour work week, typically between 05:00-20:00. Your line manager will communicate hours on a regular basis.* You'll get to work on and learn about various vehicle drivelines, including battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell, diesel and diesel hybrid.Requirements:* Experience in the maintenance and repair of buses or heavy goods vehicles, including body, electrical, and mechanical.* Working on modern vehicles, preferably with electrical diagnostic skills using Multiplex systems. * Experience diagnosing and repairing of engines and transmissions, as well as compressed air systems.* Time served PCV/LGV/HGV Technician with a recognised qualification, or equivalent experience.* Good timekeeping, reliable and with a customer facing mindset. A focus quality and accuracy, always expecting a high standard of work.* Self-organised with good planning skills, and a professional manner at all times are essential.* Flexible to do overtime (paid for) as required.* Computer literate and able to use Microsoft packages.* A Full UK Driving License
