Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Miller to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in the Ayrshire area.

Hours:

  • Days: Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm, Friday 7am – 2.30pm
  • Backshift: Monday – Thursday 3.30pm – 12am (midnight), Friday 2.30pm – 7.30pm

Hourly Pay Rate: £14 – £16 p/hour and 15% shift allowance on backshift

Daily Duties –

  • Programme, set, and operate CNC machines accurately and edit programmes on CNC lathe
  • Use inspection equipment to ensure adherence to all sizes, tolerance, and surface finishes
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation

Candidate Requirements –

  • Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience with lathes or mills and vertical machine centres
  • Sound understanding of Fanuc programming
  • Driving Licence
